ADVANTAGE - The method enables rapid detection of Sudan red with excellent stability, fast response and high sensitivity, by simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Rapid detection of Sudan red in food, involves ultrasonically dispersing graphene/polyaniline composite material in distilled water, adding 0.2 mL Nafion (RTM: sulfonated tetrafluoroethylene-based fluoropolymer-copolymer) (5%) solution, ultrasonically oscillating, coating 10 mu L obtained suspension on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode, drying, obtaining reduced graphene oxide/polyaniline-modified glassy carbon electrode, selecting Autolab-PGSTAT302 electrochemical workstation, performing electrochemical determination using cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and electrochemical impedance at 100 mV/second and potential scanning range of -0.4 V to 0.9 V, and plotting standard curve from the electrochemical signal data. The graphene/polyaniline composite material is prepared by adding 30-60 mL 2 mol/L hydrochloric acid, 2-5 mL aniline and graphene to 3 bottles, respectively, ultrasonically vibrating, adding 30-60 mL 1 mol/L ammonium persulfate solution, reacting at less than 5 degrees C, stirring for 1-2 hours, filtering, washing filtrate with distilled water and acetone until the filtrate is colorless, and vacuum-drying at 60 degrees C for 24 hours. The graphene is prepared by placing 250 mL reaction flask in an ice-water bath, adding concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, adding 2-4 g graphite powder and 1-2 g sodium nitrate solid mixture, stirring, adding 6-8 g potassium permanganate, reacting at less than 5 degrees C for predetermined time, heating 35-50 degrees C for 30 minutes, slowly adding deionized water, stirring for 20 minutes, adding hydrogen peroxide such that the solution is turned to bright yellow, filtering while hot, washing with 5% hydrochloric acid solution and deionized water until neutral, vacuum-drying, adding 3-8 g sodium borohydride to obtained graphene oxide, adjusting pH value to 8-10 using sodium carbonate, heating at 80 degrees C for 1-3 hours, filtering, repeatedly washing with ethanol and distilled water, and vacuum-drying at 50 degrees C for 24 hours.
