NOVELTY - Preparing graphene involves using 0.12 wt.% 0.24 grams/liter carbonate solution as electrolyte and graphite rod as anode and cathode. The hollow quartz tube is sleeved with graphite rod, where graphite electrode is dipped in the carbonate solution, where electrode tip is below liquid surface having distance of 2 plus minus 0.5 millimeter. The surface is treated at 0-10 degrees C and 1.30-1.80 kiloVolt to generate glow discharge. The solution is evaporated partially and dialyzed to to neutral, which is frozen and dried to obtain graphene. USE - Method for preparing graphene as automobile lubricating oil additive (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene reduces friction and abrasion, prolongs the service life and reduces the energy consumption.
