NOVELTY - A negative electrode material with silicon-graphene-antimony core-shell composite material is manufactured by surface-modifying silicon particles with alkoxysilane-based surface modifier; placing silicon particles surface-modified with alkoxysilane-based surface modifier, graphene oxide, and antimony in a solvent, adding stearic acid, dispersing ultrasonically, and freeze-drying and pulverizing to coat the silicon surface with graphene and antimony; ultrasonically dispersing the obtained silicon-graphene-antimony core-shell powder and lithium titanate in a solvent, freeze-drying, and then pulverizing; and calcining silicon-graphene-antimony core-shell composite material powder, cooling, and mixing with fluorine-based polymer to obtain product. USE - Manufacture of negative electrode material with silicon-graphene-antimony core-shell composite material for secondary battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The negative electrode material has high charge-discharge capacity, high stability, such as a reduction in the volume expansion rate, and high electrical conductivity and stability while lowering the manufacturing cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of secondary battery which involves applying negative electrode containing the silicon-graphene-antimony core-shell composite material on a current collector using an electrospray method.
