NOVELTY - The electrode (100) has nanostructures (120) which contact or fuse to one or more other nanostructures, and a passivating film which at least partially covering the nanostructures and comprising one or more layers of graphene. The passivating film is deposited by chemical vapor deposition. USE - Electrode for use in electronic device. ADVANTAGE - Provides transparent electrodes that benefit from the use of networks of highly conductive nanostructures, while being resistant to long term physical and chemical degradation.
