NOVELTY - A preset amount of ferrous salt and ferric salt are dissolved in deionized water to obtain ferric ion- and ferrous ion-containing solution (A). Preset amount of graphite oxide suspension is mixed with distilled water, ultrasonically processed and solution (A) is gradually dripped to obtain mixed solution (B). The obtained solution (B) is cured, aged and resultant solid crude product is magnetically separated, washed and dried to obtain magnetic graphene oxide composite. USE - Manufacture of magnetic graphene oxide composite for loading anti-cancer drugs e.g. doxorubicin, camptothecin and fluorouracil (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A preset amount of graphite powder, is mixed with preset amount of concentrated sulfuric acid solution of sodium nitrate, stirred, and preset amount of potassium manganate is added and reacted at preset temperature. Distilled water is added to the resultant mixture, heat-preserved for preset time, and preset amount of hydrogen peroxide is added. The mixture is then filtered, washed using dilute hydrochloric acid and distilled water and dried in vacuum to obtain graphite oxide. Obtained graphite oxide is dispersed in preset amount of water and ultrasonically processed at room temperature to obtain graphite oxide suspension. A preset amount of ferrous salt and ferric salt are weighed and dissolved in deionized water to obtain ferric ion- and ferrous ion-containing solution (A). Preset amount of graphite oxide suspension is mixed with distilled water, and pH is adjusted to acidic condition. The mixture is ultrasonically processed and solution (A) is gradually dripped to obtain mixed solution (B). Under inert gas protection, the obtained solution (B) is cured, and ammonia is added to adjust the pH to alkaline, and then aged at preset temperature for several hours. The resultant solid crude product is magnetically separated, washed using distilled water and ethanol to neutral, and dried under vacuum to obtain magnetic graphene oxide composite. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of magnetic graphene oxide composite for loading anti-cancer drugs.
