NOVELTY - Preparation of high fiber content basalt fiber-reinforced flame retardant polypropylene masterbatch comprises taking 55-60 wt.% basalt fiber, 25-40 wt.% polypropylene homopolymer, 2-6 wt.% maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, 0.1-1 wt.% nano-graphene, 0.1-1 wt.% phosphate additive, 0.1-2 wt.% aluminum zirconate coupling agent, 0.1-6 wt.% aluminum hydroxide, 0.1-3 wt.% zeolite and 0.1-1 wt.% black plastic masterbatch, feeding to twin-screw extruder, setting screw parameters, mixing, extruding, roving, soaking, forming melt filaments, mixing fibers, cooling, granulating, and cutting. USE - Method for preparing high fiber content basalt fiber-reinforced flame retardant polypropylene masterbatch (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has improved basalt fiber and polypropylene interface bonding, and can be mixed in any proportion to achieve desired fiber content.
