NOVELTY - Use of graphene materials of high aspect ratio is claimed as additives of thermoplastic materials, which comprises improvement of impact resistance, elongation improvement or improvement of the flow rate. The graphene materials have an aspect ratio between 100 and 900,000 and preferably between 200 and 600,000 and even more preferably between 300 and 300,000. The graphene materials have an average number of layers between 1 and 30, preferably between 1 and 20 and more preferably between 1 and 10. USE - Graphene materials of high aspect ratio is used as additives of thermoplastic materials. ADVANTAGE - The graphene materials have improved impact resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing polymer matrix composite material involves using high aspect ratio graphene material, and performing techniques described in the state of the art such as by in-situ polymerization, melt mixing, reactive extrusion or mixing in solution.
