NOVELTY - Manufacture of metal-air battery involves preparing a mixed solution for preparing a cathode by mixing a graphene oxide solution and a silver nitrate solution at a predetermined weight ratio, drying the mixed solution for producing a cathode electrode on a substrate to prepare a thin film for producing a cathode electrode having a predetermined density, preparing a sparked graphene oxide-silver cathode by applying a thermal shock to the thin film for producing the cathode, and arranging a separator including an electrolyte between an oxide electrode containing a metallic material and the graphene oxide-silver reduction electrode. USE - Manufacture of metal-air battery (claimed) e.g. lithium-ion secondary device used for internal combustion engine-based automobile e.g. electric vehicle, and electronic device. ADVANTAGE - The method enables easy and economical manufacture of lightweight metal-air battery having excellent discharge voltage and output characteristics with small volume, increased energy density by improving the oxygen reduction reaction rate of the reduction electrode by the increased surface area of the silver reduction electrode, and excellent catalytic ability of the silver particles. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the metal-air battery, which comprises an anode comprising a metallic material, a reduction electrode comprising reduced graphene oxide, and silver particles reduced through spark, and a separator comprising the electrolyte, arranged between the oxide electrode, and a reduced electrode.
