NOVELTY - Flexible photothermal conversion material comprises a flexible substrate, and a photothermal conversion active material comprising graphene and binder, supported on the flexible substrate. USE - The conversion material is useful in seawater desalination (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and convenient for mass production; and produces product that has high photothermal conversion efficiency, excellent cycle performance, which can be folded freely, and wide application range. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the flexible photothermal conversion material, comprising mixing graphene oxide, binder and solvent to form a mixed solution, adding flexible substrate into the mixed solution, soaking to obtain a flexible substrate loaded with the graphene oxide, subjecting the flexible substrate loaded with the graphene oxide to a reduction treatment to obtain the flexible substrate loaded with graphene to form the flexible photothermal conversion material.
