NOVELTY - Poly(methacrylic acid) composition comprises 30-50 pts. wt. ethyl methacrylate resin, 20-80 pts. wt. polycarbonate resin, 16-22 pts. wt. dimethacrylate diethanol, 13-18 pts. wt. glass fiber, 6-12 pts. wt. dimethyl acrylic acid diethanol, 3-7 pts. wt. chloromethyl acetate, 1.8-3.2 pts. wt. nano graphene, 2-4 pts. wt. azobisisobutyronitrile, 0.5-1.5 pts. wt. maleic anhydride, 3.5-4 pts. wt. magnesium stearate, 5-13 pts. wt. impact modifier, 0.3-0.8 pt. wt. lubricant, 0.5-2.5 pts. wt. UV light absorber, and 2.6-4 pts. wt. organic solubilizer. USE - The composition is useful to a cosmetic container. ADVANTAGE - The composition has heat resistance, plasticity, high gloss, and excellent light transmittance, abrasion performance, drop resistance, molding fluidity and impact resistance, avoids surface fuzzing, is recyclable, prepared by simple method and suitable for industrial-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing poly(methacrylic acid) composition involving (a) adding ethyl methacrylate resin, polycarbonate resin, dimethacrylate diethanol, and glass fiber into a reactor, heating at 110-130 degrees C, increasing pressure to 2-3 MPa and stirring for 1.5-2 hours to obtain a prefabricated mixture, (b) adding diethanol dimethacrylate, methyl chloromethyl acetate, nanographene, azobisisobutyronitrile, maleic anhydride, and magnesium stearate to the prefabricated mixture, adding it to a reactor, mixing uniformly, heating at 65-75 degrees C, mixing and stirring for 2 hours, adding lubricant, UV absorber and organic solubilizer to continue mixing and heating at 70-80 degrees C to obtain a mixture, and (c) demulsifying the mixture, agglomerating, dehydrating and drying, extruding and granulating it to a main feed hopper of a twin-screw extruder to obtain the product.
