NOVELTY - Organic compound having ferrocene and hexacene fluorene unit as a core i.e. graphene complex (I) is new. USE - Organic compound is useful in composition and organic electronic device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Organic compound: avoids problem of loss of positioning information due to quenching; and has extended sequencing read length and reduced error rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Organic compound having ferrocene and hexacene fluorene unit as a core i.e. graphene complex of formula (I) is new. ring a-e, and a1-e1 = linked by divalent group e.g. butan-1,4-diyl, (E)-but-2-en-1,4-diyl or iron complex of formula (II) or anthracene group of formula (III) substituted with R; and R = H, D, 1-30C straight chain alkyl, alkoxy, thioalkoxy, branched or cyclic 3-30C alkyl, silyl, 1-30C ketone, 2-30C alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, cyano, carbamoyl, 7-30C alkyl, halo, formyl, formyl, isocyano, isocyanate, thiocyanate, isothiocyanate, hydroxy, nitro, CF3, Cl, Br, F, crosslinkable group or 5-60C ring atoms or optionally substituted aromatic group or heteroaromatic group, aryloxy or 5-60C heteroaryloxy group. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) composition, comprising at least one organic compound and at least one organic solvent; and (2) organic electronic device, comprising at least one organic compound.
