NOVELTY - A metal organic framework compound MIL-101(chromium)/graphene oxide-based flat matrix mixed forward osmosis membrane comprises casting solution containing MIL-101(chromium)/graphene oxide with capability of affecting the structure and performance of the forward osmosis membrane, where the casting solution comprises 8.0-20.0 wt.% polymeric membrane material, 1.0-12.0 wt.% porogen, 0.05-2.0 wt.% metal organic framework MIL-101 (chromium)/grapheme oxide and 66.0-90.95 wt.% solvent.
