NOVELTY - Preparation of iron-nitride-modified graphene, involves preparing graphene oxide solution, mixing with trivalent iron salt aqueous solution, adding urea, heat-hydrolyzing, cooling, washing, drying, baking, cooling, and introducing ammonia gas for baking. USE - Preparation of iron-nitride-modified graphene useful as cathode material in microorganism fuel cell for oxygen reduction reaction (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical large-scale preparation of iron-nitride-modified graphene with excellent oxygen reduction catalytic activity.
