▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - An iridium compound-graphene oxide complex has a peak derived from a carbon-oxygen group in an infrared absorption spectrum. USE - Iridium compound-graphene oxide complex is used as photocatalyst in apparatus used for manufacturing hydrogen, and hydrolyzing apparatus for manufacturing proton and oxygen (all claimed). Can also be used as active material for electrodes used in hydrogen production and water decomposition. ADVANTAGE - The iridium compound-graphene oxide complex improves hydrogen production efficiency and oxidative decomposition efficiency of water, reduces manufacturing cost of hydrogen, and enables simple manufacture of electrodes. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of iridium compound-graphene oxide complex, which involves preparing a suspension by mixing the iridium compound as a raw material and graphene oxide in an inert solvent and irradiating the suspension with light having a wavelength of 100-800 nm; (2) manufacture of hydrogen, which involves irradiating light to a hydrogen source containing water and/or alcohol in the presence of the iridium compound-graphene oxide complex; and (3) oxidative decomposition of water in the presence of the iridium compound-graphene oxide complex to produce a proton and oxygen. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the apparatus for oxidative decomposition of water. Glass vial (1A) Inlet (4) Septum (6) Stirring element (9) Magnetic stirrer (10)
