NOVELTY - Preparation of lithium-ion battery negative electrode involves (S1) preparing graphite-silicon oxide composite negative electrode slurry comprising a surface layer negative electrode slurry (A) and an inner layer negative electrode slurry (B), and (S2) uniformly coating the slurry (B) and the slurry (A) in order on a surface of a current collector. The silicon oxide content in the slurry (A) is less than the silicon oxide content in the slurry (B). USE - Preparation of negative electrode for lithium-ion battery of electric device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method effectively suppresses the volume expansion of silicon oxide and improves the overall conductivity of the negative electrode material using graphite, and distributes binder and conductive agent in the inner layer to increase the bonding force of the composite negative electrode and reduce the contact resistance between the electrode powder and the electrode powder/current collector, thereby improving the circulation performance and rate performance of lithium-ion battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of lithium-ion battery negative electrode involves (S1) preparing graphite-silicon oxide (SiOx, where x is 1-2) composite negative electrode slurry comprising a surface layer negative electrode slurry (A) and an inner layer negative electrode slurry (B), and (S2) uniformly coating the slurry (B) and the slurry (A) in order on a surface of a current collector. The silicon oxide content in the slurry (A) is less than the silicon oxide content in the slurry (B). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for lithium-ion battery negative electrode, which comprises an inner active material layer (B') and a surface active material layer (A') provided on the surface of the current collector. The layers (A') and (B') comprise graphite and silicon oxide. The silicon oxide content in the layer (A') is less than the silicon oxide content in the layer (B').
