NOVELTY - Nickel-metal hydride battery comprises anode sheet, cathode sheet and electrolytic solution. The anode sheet includes anode surface material and a sheet electrode substrate. The cathode electrode sheet includes a cathode electrode surface layer material and a cathode electrode substrate. The anode surface layer material includes 80-98 pts. wt. cobalt-coated spherical nickel hydroxide and 1-8 pts. wt. transition metal oxide. The transition metal oxide is Group IIIB metal oxides or Group IVB metal oxides. The cathode surface material includes: 80-90 pts. wt. lanthanum-yttrium-nickel hydrogen storage alloy, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. conductive agent, 4-6 pts. wt. yttrium oxide. The conductive agent is carbon black, acetylene black and/or graphene. The electrolyte includes 8-20 pts. wt. potassium hydroxide, 13-25 pts. wt. sodium hydroxide, 0.5-6 pts. wt. lithium hydroxide and 50-80 pts. wt. water. USE - Nickel-hydrogen battery used for mobile communication, notebook computer and other electronic device and gasoline/electric hybrid electric vehicle.
