NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene foam thermal interference material involves selecting graphite, mixing with sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate, carrying out oxidation intercalation process, obtaining graphene oxide, selecting carbon nanotubes, acidifying using mixed solution comprising sulfuric acid and nitric acid, mixing acidified carbon nanotubes and graphene oxide, placing resultant in hydrothermal reactor, performing hydrothermal reaction, obtaining graphene hydrogel, cutting to sheet, placing graphene sheet in freeze dryer and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene foam thermal interference material used in electronic device and electronic packaging. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene foam thermal interference material having excellent thermal conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene foam thermal interference material involves selecting graphite having carbon content of 99% or more, mixing with sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate, carrying out oxidation intercalation process, obtaining graphene oxide, selecting carbon nanotubes having diameter of 20-100 nm and length of 10-50 mu m, acidifying using mixed solution comprising sulfuric acid and nitric acid, mixing acidified carbon nanotubes and graphene oxide, placing resultant in hydrothermal reactor, performing hydrothermal reaction at 150-200 degrees C for 6-10 hours, obtaining graphene hydrogel, cutting to sheet having size of 1-100 cm2 and thickness of 0.1-3 mm, placing graphene sheet in freeze dryer and drying at 0.1-10 torr for 12-24 hours.
