NOVELTY - Preparing nano PS-CHO/RGO composite microspheres, comprises preparing monodisperse polystyrene aldehyde microspheres and graphene oxide, using polystyrene aldehyde microspheres as a carrier and sodium borohydride as a reducing agent, and wrapping reduced graphite oxide on the surface of the microspheres by in-situ polymerization. USE - The method is useful for preparing nano PS-CHO/RGO composite microspheres. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for degrading methylene blue by using the nano PS-CHO/RGO composite microspheres, mixing PS-CHO/RGO composite microspheres and ethanol at concentration of 2.3-2.7 g/l, pouring into the printing and dyeing wastewater containing methylene blue, so that the mass ratio of PS-CHO/RGO composite microspheres and methylene blue in the mixed solution is 1-3:1, stirring and mixing for 10-15 minutes, adding potassium hydrogen persulfate aqueous solution to the mixed solution to make the mass concentration of potassium hydrogen persulfate in the mixed solution 0.48-0.52 g/l, and continuously stirring makes the color of the mixture gradually change from blue to colorless to complete the degradation of methylene blue.
