NOVELTY - A rare earth modified graphene manufacturing method involves stirring water soluble carbon source compound with purified water to obtain carbon source compound aqueous solution. A dispersant and rare earth compound is stirred with the aqueous solution to obtain mixed solution of carbon source compound and rare earth compound. A graphite oxide is ground to obtain oxidized graphite powder. The powder is stirred with the mixed solution to obtain pasty precursor. The precursor is transferred to sealed non-metal vessel and subjected to industrial microwave heat treatment. USE - Method for manufacturing rare earth modified graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacturing rare earth modified graphene with high raw material sources, high purity and better electrochemical performance in an easy and inexpensive manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A rare earth modified graphene manufacturing method involves utilizing graphite oxide, purified water, water soluble carbon source compound, rare earth compound and dispersant at a weight ratio of 1:0.3-1.25:0.05-0.15:0.003-0.02:0.002-0.01. The water soluble carbon source compound is stirred with the purified water to obtain carbon source compound aqueous solution. The dispersant, rare earth compound is stirred with the aqueous solution to obtain mixed solution of carbon source compound and rare earth compound.
