NOVELTY - Preparation of silicon-graphene composite material involves heating graphite oxide at 500-1000 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours under protective gas atmosphere and cooling to obtain graphene, heating the graphene at 700-1000 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours in an atmosphere of protective gas and silicon source gas under pressure of 90-130 Pa and cooling. USE - Preparation of silicon-graphene composite material used for preparing lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium ion battery containing silicon-graphene composite material has excellent cycle characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of lithium ion battery.
