NOVELTY - Amplification primer, is new. The rapid amplification primer is designed based on the specific conserved region of the monkeypox virus J2R gene, including a forward primer F and a reverse primer R, where the forward primer F is a J2R-F sequence comprising sequence having a defined sequence of 21 nucleotides (SEQ ID NO: 1), given in the specification and the reverse primer R is a J2R-R sequence sequence having a defined sequence of 22 nucleotides (SEQ ID NO: 2), given in the specification. USE - The primer is useful for fast detecting monkey pox virus. ADVANTAGE - The method can complete rapid fluorescence detection of monkeypox virus within 35 minutes; ensures monkeypox virus detection method is simple, fast, accurate and safe to operate; and improves strong specificity and good repeatability.
