NOVELTY - Graphene-modified water-based polyurethane is modified and oxidized by comprising an aqueous polyurethane based on 100 wt.% aqueous polyurethane, octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane graphene, 0.05-0.25 wt.% octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane modified carbon nanotubes. The octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane modified graphene oxide is blended and dispersed by graphene oxide and octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane. The octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane modified carbon nanotubes are obtained by blending, dispersing carbon nanotubes, and octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane. USE - Graphene-modified water-based polyurethane. ADVANTAGE - The graphene modified waterborne polyurethane has excellent mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene-modified waterborne polyurethane, which involves: (A) dispersing graphene oxide and octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane in a solvent for mechanical dispersion to form octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane modified graphene oxide; (B) dispersing carbon nanotubes and octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane in a solvent for mechanical dispersion to form octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane modified oxidized carbon nanotubes; and (C) mixing the octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane modified graphene oxide and octaaminopropyl cage polysilsesquioxane modified oxidized carbon nanotubes.
