NOVELTY - Electrochemical uric acid test strip comprises an insulating substrate and an electrode. The electrode comprises a reference electrode and a working electrode for measuring uric acid. The surface of the working electrode is covered with a reagent layer. The component of the reagent layer comprises a transition metal complex. The total weight of the reagent layer dry film is 100%. The content range of the transition metal complex is 0.1-10 wt.%. The component of the working electrode comprises high specific surface area electroactive material. USE - Electrochemical uric acid test strip for detecting uric acid in whole blood sample (claiemd). ADVANTAGE - The test strip reduces interference of ascorbic acid, and can be prepared in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a de-ascorbic acid interference electrochemical uric acid test strip, which involves fabricating a reference electrode and a working electrode containing an electroactive material with a high specific surface area on the insulating substrates, fabricating a reagent layer containing a transition metal complex on the surface of the working electrode, partially fabricating an electrical insulating layer on the surface of the insulating substrate on which the working electrode and the reference electrode have been adjusted to expose the working electrode and the reference electrode and close to the surface of the insulating substrate, disposing the adhesive sheet on the electrical insulating layer and exposing the sampling channel and then covering the hydrophilic cover plate to cover the adhesive sheet and the sampling channel; and (2) a method for detecting uric acid in a whole blood sample, which involves using ascorbic acid-free electrochemical uric acid test strip.
