NOVELTY - A conductive paste comprises 5-10 pts. wt. hydrophilically treated graphene, 2-5 pts. wt. pretreated short fibers, 2-8 pts. wt. lignin, 2-8 pts. wt. carboxymethyl cellulose, 2-8 pts. wt. humic acid, 20-30 pts. wt. barium sulfate, 2-8 pts. wt. carbon black and 20-100 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - Conductive paste for use as negative electrode additive in negative electrode plate of lead-acid battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The conductive paste comprises less than or equal to 40 parts per million metal impurities (iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, manganese or aluminum) and has better uniformity, high stability, solid content of 50-85 wt.% and viscosity of 2000-10000 cp. The lead-acid battery has better cycle life, improved charge and discharge rate and high temperature performance.
