NOVELTY - The method involves recycling a battery electrode active material. The graphite is considered as a cathode material of waste lithium ion battery. The cathode material is coated to obtain a mixture material. The layer and the blend material are separated from the graphite electrode material. The separated graphite electrode material is dried and crushed. The dried graphite electrode material is treated using the oxidation-reduction process or ultrasonic stripping process, so as to prepare the graphene at atmosphere of nitrogen, air, helium, or hydrogen. USE - Method for recycling and regenerating graphene in waste lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The cost required for recycling and regenerating the graphene in the waste lithium ion battery can be reduced. The graphene in the waste lithium ion battery can be recycled and regenerated in feasible manner.
