NOVELTY - Conductive fiber bundles and acetone are added to an extraction tube and bottle of Soxhlet extractor, and acetone is heated. The conductive fiber bundles are processed in an ultrasonic-assisted electrophoretic deposition system comprising electrophoresis, electrolyzer, roller device and ultrasonic cleaning instrument, using an electrophoretic solution prepared by dispersing a metal salt in graphene oxide solution, such that graphene oxide is adsorbed on the surface of the conductive fiber. The graphene-adsorbed conductive fiber is repeatedly washed with ethanol and water. USE - Rapid deposition of graphene on conductive fiber surface (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables rapid and continuous deposition of graphene on conductive fiber surface with improved mechanical property of conductive fiber, and uniform deposition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Conductive fiber bundles and acetone are added to an extraction tube and bottle of Soxhlet extractor, and acetone is heated at 75-85 degrees C for 12-48 hours. The conductive fiber bundles are placed in an ultrasonic-assisted electrophoretic deposition system comprising electrophoresis, electrolyzer, roller device and ultrasonic cleaning instrument, through roller device provided in an electrolytic cell. A perforated stainless steel cylinder as a positive electrode is connected to the conductive fiber as a negative electrode of the electrophoretic deposition system. The distance between the two electrodes is 1-2 cm. The loading voltage of the electrophoretic deposition system is 120-180 V. The electrolytic cell is placed in an ultrasonic cleaning instrument. Positively charged graphene is moved to the oppositely charged negative electrode under the combined action of electric field and ultrasound, and adsorbed on the surface of the conductive fiber for 30 seconds to 10 minutes. The graphene-adsorbed conductive fiber is repeatedly washed with ethanol and water for 1 minute. The electrophoresis solution is prepared by adding ultrasonically dispersing a metal salt in graphene oxide solution for 0.5-1 hour, centrifuging at 5000-10000 rpm for 10-20 minutes, and obtaining supernatant as electrophoretic solution. The graphene oxide solution is prepared by ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide and a dispersant in a solvent for 1-3 hours.
