NOVELTY - Improving lithium-replenishing on the surface of cathode involves forming conductive adhesive layer on surface of active material layer of cathode. The ultra-thin metal lithium or lithium alloy film with a thickness of 1-50 microns is compounded on the viscous layer by pressure compounding to obtain lithium-replenishing cathode. The peeling force between the ultra-thin metal lithium or lithium alloy film and the cathode is 70 gram-force (gf)/25 millimeter (mm)-200 gf/25 mm. USE - Method for improving cathode surface lithium-replenishing of lithium cathode used in lithium ion secondary battery (claimed) e.g. power battery. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, easy to operate, and capable of batch production application. The conductive adhesive layer on the cathode surface improves adhesion between ultra-thin metal lithium or lithium alloy film and cathode, so that ultra-thin lithium/lithium alloy film is easily transferred to cathode surface without incomplete transfer or cathode crushing deformed condition. The metal lithium and cathode active material are completely reacted, and electrochemical performance is not influenced by the adhesive layer when lithium-supplementing negative electrode with adhesive layer is soaked in the electrolyte. The lithium supplementing cathode improves the first effect of the secondary battery.
