NOVELTY - The preparation of ferrite graphene composite material, involves (S1) dispersing potassium permanganate and graphite powder in concentrated sulfuric acid, and reacting to obtain graphite oxide flakes, (S2) cleaning graphite oxide flakes, stirring during the cleaning process, exfoliating the graphite oxide flakes into graphene oxide by centrifugation, and forming stable graphene oxide suspension in water, (S3) adding soluble ferrous salt and nickel salt to suspension of graphene oxide, (S4) heating the mixed solution in step (S3) at 160-200degrees Celsius in the reaction kettle, and leaving still for 8-12 hours, (S5) adding reducing agent to cooled mixed solution in step (S4), treating in oven at 70-80degreesC for 72 hours, cooling to room temperature, and reducing graphene oxide to reduced graphene oxide, and (S6) separating the reacted sample in step (S5), washing, and fully drying. USE - Preparation of ferrite graphene composite material used in electronic device, energy storage, biomedical application and laboratory. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of ferrite graphene composite material ensuring enhanced absorbing performance by simple and economical process, and solves shortcomings such as high material density and insufficient thermal stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for ferrite graphene composite material, which includes composite material main portion whose nickel ferrite characteristic peaks in XRD spectrum at 2theta is 18.4degrees, 30.3degrees, 35.6degrees, 43.3degrees, 53.8degrees, 57.2degrees and 62.8degrees, and the thickness of graphene layer is in the order of nanometers.
