NOVELTY - Plated molded product comprises molded thermoplastic resin composition and electrolytic plating layer formed on the surface, where thermoplastic resin composition is 100 pts. wt. styrene-based resin and 1-7 pts. wt. additive for shortening plating. USE - Used as plating molded product. ADVANTAGE - The plating molded product has high dispersibility and can be provided without reducing the plating time, especially electroless plating time, or performing electroless plating without deterioration of the appearance characteristics during plating due to the formation of surface irregularities according to the etching deviation. The molded article has excellent plating quality even under various process conditions and improved productivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for manufacturing plated molded product, comprising (i) manufacturing a molded article by molding a thermoplastic resin composition comprising an additive for shortening the plating; (ii) etching the molded product to obtain a concave-convex molded product in which a microrelief structure is formed on the surface of the molded product; and (iii) adsorbing a metal catalyst to the uneven molding and performing an electrolytic plating process to obtain a molded article in which an electrolytic plating layer is laminated.
