NOVELTY - Material comprises a base layer, a reduced graphene oxide layer formed on top of the base layer, and dendrimer-capped metal nanoparticles attached on top of the reduced graphene oxide layer. USE - The material is useful in surface enhancement Raman scattering (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and has high reliability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) producing material, comprising (a) forming and reducing a graphene oxide layer on top of a base layer, and (b) attaching the dendrimer-capped metal nanoparticles on the graphene oxide layer; and (2) surface enhanced Raman scattering, comprising placing a sample to be analyzed on the material, and performing Raman spectroscopy.
