▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A lubricant comprises graphene-enriched nanoparticle-based minimum quantity lubrication (NMQL) and texture fills, which is mixed with vegetable oil filled within texture recesses. The texture fills are for enhancing the performance of turning operations, enhancing cutting tool life, and to decrease the use of cutting fluids for turning of hard-to-machine alloy, preferably in turning of titanium-aluminum-vanadium (Ti-6Al-4V) aerospace alloy, and reducing machining and turning costs. USE - Lubricant used for turning in aerospace industry. ADVANTAGE - The lubricant utilizes graphene nanoparticles for enhancing maximum machining tool's life, lowers cutting forces, reduces minimum cutting temperature when used with NMQL nanofluids (e.g. canola oil), tribological performance of turning tools, under higher pressure lowers down the overall cutting temperature by 31-42%, lowers wear of cutting tool, minimizes cuttings force by 36-40%, enhancing the thermal conductivity of oil mixtures in NMQL, producing friction between the tool-chip and tool work sample contact surfaces resulting in effective cooling of the cutting zone, and is manufactured economically.
