NOVELTY - Preparation of flower-like cobalt tetroxide-graphene composite material involves mixing graphene oxide dispersion liquid and cobalt nitrate aqueous solution, adding urea, mixing, obtaining cobalt nitrate-graphene oxide mixture, adding resultant product to hydrothermal reactor, reacting at 100-150 degrees C for 10-16 hours, naturally cooling to room temperature, separating, washing, drying, obtaining flower-like cobalt hydroxide-graphene powder, heating to 390-410 degrees C at 8 degrees C/minute, calcining for 1-3 hours, and naturally cooling to room temperature. The mass ratio of graphene oxide and cobalt nitrate is 1:300-1:100. The mass ratio of cobalt nitrate and urea is 4:1-1:1. USE - Preparation of flower-like cobalt tetroxide-graphene composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables economical, environmentally-friendly, simple and reliable preparation of flower-like cobalt tetroxide-graphene composite material having specific capacity of 585 F/g or less, and excellent cycle performance and rate performance.
