NOVELTY - Method for preparing sponge material, involves weighing polyvinyl alcohol, dissolving polyvinyl alcohol in deionized water, uniformly mixing the solution, adding graphene oxide, foaming agent, cross-linking agent and catalyst to the polyvinyl alcohol solution, stirring the solution, transferring the solution to mold, heating the mold, washing the obtained sponge using water for several times and drying the sponge material. USE - The method is useful for preparing adsorption, separation, filtration and purification sponge material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The sponge material is porous, has fast absorption rate, and does not need extra energy consumption.
