NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide/silica hybrid aerogel, involves adding silica precursor to distilled water to obtain an aqueous precursor solution, slowly dripping hydrolysis catalyst, stirring, adjusting pH to 6-7, stirring to obtain dispersion of silica microspheres, diluting the dispersion with water, mixing the dilute dispersion with graphene oxide dispersion in equal volume, stirring for 10-30 minutes, ultrasonically processing for 10-30 minutes to obtain a hybrid hydrogel, processing the hydrogel in liquid nitrogen for 5-10 minutes, freeze-drying, and removing water. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide/silica hybrid aerogel (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and environmentally-friendly preparation of graphene oxide/silica hybrid aerogel with integrated gel network structure, high porosity, excellent absorption property and strength, and low density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene oxide/silica hybrid aerogel, involves adding 0.05-0.1 mol silica precursor to 9-18 ml distilled water to obtain an aqueous precursor solution, slowly dripping 0.2-0.6 mol/L hydrolysis catalyst to the precursor solution, stirring at 20-30 degrees C for 5-8 hours, adding pH regulator to adjust pH to 6-7, stirring for 5-45 minutes to obtain dispersion of silica microspheres, diluting the dispersion 5-50 times with water, mixing the dilute dispersion with 0.6-2 mg/ml graphene oxide dispersion in equal volume, stirring for 10-30 minutes, ultrasonically processing for 10-30 minutes to obtain a hybrid hydrogel, processing the hydrogel in liquid nitrogen for 5-10 minutes, freeze-drying, and removing water. The molar ratio of catalyst and precursor is 1:20-1:100.
