NOVELTY - Composite cathode pole piece comprises current collector (1), where a silicon material layer (2) provided on the surface of current collector, a graphene layer (3) provided on the surface of silicon material layer, and an active material layer (4) provided on the surface of graphene layer, where the silicon material of silicon material layer is selected from silicon boride, silicon hexaboride, magnesium silicide, nickel silicide, titanium disilicide , cobalt disilicide, calcium silicide, manganese silicide, silicon carbide. USE - Composite cathode pole piece for lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The composite cathode pole piece improves the contact area between the silicon material and current collector, cycle performance and energy density, reduces resistance and improves high conductivity of graphene and multiplying power performance of pole piece. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing composite cathode pole piece which involves: (A) depositing silicon material layer on the surface of current collector to obtain the pole piece 1; (B) depositing the graphene on the surface of pole piece 1 to obtain the pole piece 2; and (C) coating the active material layer on the surface of pole piece 2 to obtain the pole piece 3.
