NOVELTY - Composite material comprises 10-20% zinc oxide quantum dots and graphene quantum dot. Composite material is prepared by adding 2g citric acid into 25mL beaker and then heated at 200 degrees C to obtain white orange crystals. 10mg/ml sodium hydroxide solution is added into white orange crystals solution and then pH value of solution is adjusted to 7 to obtain graphene quantum dot solution. 2.22g Zinc nitrate is dissolved in 20ml of deionized water to obtain mixture. Graphene quantum dot solution is added into mixture and then stirred for 30 minutes to obtain another mixture. USE - Composite material used for detecting acetic acid in air. ADVANTAGE - The composite material detects acetic acid in air in rapid manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Composite material comprises 10-20% zinc oxide quantum dots and graphene quantum dot. The mixture is transferred to hydrothermal reaction kettle and then heated at 140-200 degrees C for 8-24 hours. The mixture is washed with deionized water and ethanol, and then dried at 60 degrees C for 24 hours to obtain the product.
