▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Potassium-carbon composite cathode comprises potassium and carbon, total mass ratio of carbon is less than 30 wt.%, and the carbon content varies with the type of carbon material. The carbon material is natural graphite, artificial graphite, graphene, carbon nanotubes, hard carbon, soft carbon, conductive carbon black, mesophase carbon microspheres, and fullerene. USE - Potassium-carbon composite cathode used in a potassium battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite cathode helps to solve the problem that the potassium metal cathode not be cycled stably at high temperature, improves the compatibility of the electrode/electrolyte interface, inhibits the side reaction of the interface, reduces the interface resistance, which is conducive to obtain a high-performance of potassium battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a potassium-carbon composite cathode, which involves: (1) melting metal potassium in an inert atmosphere to form liquid metal potassium (2) The carbon material is added according to a certain chemical mass ratio, mechanically stirred and uniformly mixed. (3) The mixture is cooled to form composite cathode.
