NOVELTY - Manufacture of fine carbon involves heating metal substrate positioned in a reaction container at reducing environment, catalyzing, supplying carbon-containing gas (compound) in the reaction container by scraping off carbon fiber generated on metal substrate, oxidation-treating linear carbon fiber (31) having length of less than 10 mu m and diameter of 1-470 nm, forming graphene having oxygen-containing chemical-modifying group which is in form sheet, and laminating graphene sheet (34) in longitudinal direction by overlapping 1-100 layers. USE - Manufacture of fine carbon used for manufacturing composite material (all claimed) for packaging material for electronic component. ADVANTAGE - The fine carbon is manufactured efficiently and easily with excellent thermal conductivity, electrical insulation property and compatibility.
