NOVELTY - Graphene-containing coating film comprises hydrates (I), graphene positioned on the surface of the hydrates, and silica particles positioned on the surface of the hydrates. Graphene is in the shape of discontinuous island. Silica particles include agglomerates of a number of silica nanoparticles (30). USE - Graphene-containing coating film used for head lamp of vehicle (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-containing coating film has improved thermal conductivity, surface functionality and transmittance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene-containing coating film comprises hydrates of formula (I): Xn-M-(OH)4-n, graphene positioned on the surface of the hydrate, and silica particles positioned on the surface of hydrate. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing graphene-containing coating film, which involves dispersing graphene, mixing and dispersing silica nanoparticles and the precursor of the hydrate (I) in a hydrophilic solvent and mixing with the dispersed graphene, hydrolyzing and condensing the mixed dispersed solution to prepare graphene-containing sol solution, coating the solution on a substrate and drying at 25-400 degrees C and heating the dried film at 50-900 degrees C.
