NOVELTY - Organic copper antibacterial polyester fiber comprises 90-95 pts. wt. polyester fiber raw material, 5-10 pts. wt. functional additive and 1-5 pts. wt. organic copper antibacterial agent masterbatch, where the organic copper antibacterial agent masterbatch comprises organic copper antibacterial agent and polyester resin, and the organic copper antibacterial agent is a solid powder of an organic copper compound containing a copper phthalate structure (I). USE - As organic copper antibacterial polyester fiber. ADVANTAGE - The organic copper antibacterial polyester fiber has excellent scale effect, increases the melting temperature and heat-resistant temperature of the antibacterial agent, avoids the decomposition and migration of the antibacterial agent during high-temperature processing and use, and is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Organic copper antibacterial polyester fiber comprises 90-95 pts. wt. polyester fiber raw material, 5-10 pts. wt. functional additive and 1-5 pts. wt. organic copper antibacterial agent masterbatch, where the organic copper antibacterial agent masterbatch comprises organic copper antibacterial agent and polyester resin, and the organic copper antibacterial agent is a solid powder of an organic copper compound containing a copper phthalate structure of formula (I). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the organic copper antibacterial polyester fiber, which involves uniformly mixing 10-20 pts. wt. organic copper compound, 20-30 pts. wt. additive and 50-70 pts. wt. polyester resin, heating and reacting for 30 minutes, cooling, and grinding into powder to obtain the organic copper antibacterial agent masterbatch, where the additive comprises graphene or carbon black or activated carbon or silica.
