NOVELTY - Preparing chlorine doped graphene quantum dots involves mixing liquid paraffin with chloroform. The mixture is placed over lit glass slide and then placed over flame until it extinguishes to obtain chlorine-doped carbon nano-spheres to which a dispersant then it is subjected to centrifugation. The supernatant is collected, heated and dried to obtain chlorine doped graphene quantum dots. USE - Method for preparing chlorine doped graphene quantum dots (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The chlorine doped graphene quantum dots has excellent photoelectric properties.
