NOVELTY - Generating carbon quantum dot by decomposing carbon with hydrogen peroxide solution involves preparing raw material, preparing the carbon material into carbon material solution with a certain concentration, preparing a certain concentration of hydrogen peroxide, mixing and processing the carbon material solution with a certain volume and hydrogen peroxide with a certain volume to mix, and ultrasonically processing under the sunlight, extracting and preparing the mixture obtained for centrifuging, taking the supernatant and irradiating with the laser beam. USE - Method for generating carbon quantum dot that is utilized in fields of medical imaging equipment, micro light-emitting diodes, chemical sensors, and photocatalytic reactions. ADVANTAGE - The method enables generating carbon quantum dot with excellent optical properties, good water-solubility, and low toxicity, in eco-friendly and cost-effective manner
