▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Microwave assisted production of graphene based polyacrylamide composites, comprises: dispersing graphene oxide or functionalized graphene oxide in a solvent e.g. water, mixing with acrylamide in presence of nitrogen for 0.1-1 hour at 25-35 degrees C; adding solution of ceric ammonium sulfate in dilute sulfuric acid or benzoyl peroxide into reaction mixture and keeping it in a microwave reactor with 600-800 W, precipitating in presence of solvent, filtering and drying to obtain functionalized graphene based polyacrylamide nanocomposite or graphene based polyacrylamide composite. USE - The process is useful for producing functionalized graphene based polyacrylamide nanocomposites or graphene based polyacrylamide composites, which are useful as an aqueous lubricant additive (claimed) for reducing frictional coefficient and wear on metal surfaces. ADVANTAGE - The process: provides graphene based polyacrylamide composites and functionalized graphene based polyacrylamide nanocomposites with yield of 50-78% and 1-34% respectively (claimed), where the graphene based polyacrylamide composites and functionalized graphene based polyacrylamide nanocomposites, have extreme pressure property, are stable, eco-friendly and easily soluble in aqueous medium without emulsifier for making aqueous lubricating additive, and can be added easily and cost effectively to an aqueous lubricant as friction and wear reducer for tribological applications; and is environment friendly and faster using microwave techniques. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Microwave assisted production of graphene based polyacrylamide composites, comprises: dispersing graphene oxide or functionalized graphene oxide in a solvent comprising water or dimethylformamide followed by mixing with acrylamide in the presence of nitrogen for 0.1-1 hour at 25-35 degrees C; adding solution of 0.112 to 3.92x 10-3 ceric ammonium sulfate in dilute sulfuric acid or benzoyl peroxide into the reaction mixture followed by keeping it in a microwave reactor with 600-800 W at 50-70 degrees C for 0.08-0.5 hours to initiate redox polymerization, followed by precipitating in the presence of solvent, filtering and drying at 40-50 degrees C for 10-12 hours to obtain functionalized graphene based polyacrylamide nanocomposite or graphene based polyacrylamide composite.
