NOVELTY - Preparation of allantoin by titanium dioxide-based composite solid catalyst comprises mixing tetrabutyl titanate, graphene, dimethylformamide and ethanol to form solution A, mixing water, ethanol and acetic acid to form solution B, mixing copper salt, zinc salt, silver salt, water and ethanol to form solution C, pouring solution B and solution C to solution A, heating, drying, grinding to obtain powder, calcining to produce titanium dioxide-based composite solid catalyst, soaking solid catalyst, zinc chloride and niobium pentachloride in hydrochloric acid, drying to obtain titanium dioxide-based compound/Lewis acid composition, oxidizing glyoxal and nitric acid to obtain glyoxylic acid, and performing condensation reaction of glyoxylic acid, urea and titanium dioxide-based compound/Lewis acid composition. USE - Method for preparing allantoin by titanium dioxide-based composite solid catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method has excellent productivity. The preparation is said to be environment friendly.
