NOVELTY - The device has a substrate (100) sequentially stacked with a first encapsulation layer (110), an active layer (130) and a second encapsulation layer (150). A first electrode layer (GL1) is provided between the first encapsulation layer and the active layer. A second electrode layer (GL2) is provided between the active layer and the second encapsulation layer. Multiple color centers are provided in the active layer, where the active layer comprises hexagonal boron nitride. The color center is configured to emit light in UV wavelength range, where the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer comprise graphene, silicon, magnesium, carbon, gallium, metal elements and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC), the first encapsulation layer and the second encapsulation layer comprise hexagonal boron nitride and the active layer is a van der Waals heterostructure. USE - UV emitting optical device. ADVANTAGE - The device provides the substrate, the first encapsulation layer and the second encapsulation layer with the active layer, sequentially stacks the active layer on the substrate and improves light extraction efficiency of a device body and luminous efficiency of the device body.
