NOVELTY - An absorbent comprises 5-90 %mass choline eutectic solvent or imidazole ionic liquid, 0.01-0.1 %mass graphene oxide, and remaining water. USE - The absorbent is useful for separating and recycling carbon dioxide from blast furnace gas (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The absorbent can effectively remove carbon dioxide gas in coal gas, and can be regenerated. The regeneration efficiency is more than 97%. The concentration of carbon dioxide in coal gas is reduced to less than 0.75%.
