NOVELTY - Method for washing graphene oxide involves blending diluted hydrochloric acid with an anti-gelling agent to obtain a washing solution (A), washing graphene oxide to be washed with the washing solution (A) to obtain a primary purified graphene oxide, blending the organic acid with the anti-gelling agent to obtain a washing solution (B), washing the primary purified graphene oxide with the washing liquid (B) to obtain a middle-grade purified graphene oxide and blending and washing the anti-gelling agent with the middle-grade purified graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for washing graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method can improve the purification efficiency, reduces the content of impurity ions, preferably chloride ion impurities in graphene oxide and increases yield of washing.
