NOVELTY - Preparing magnetic heteropoly acid-graphene composite catalyst comprises e.g. (i) dissolving graphene oxide in water to obtain graphene oxide aqueous solution, then adding ferrous sulfate, sodium hydroxide, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and urea aqueous solution and then carrying out hydro-thermal reaction, filtering and freeze drying, (ii) mixing tungstate, zinc nitrate and water for condensing reflux, heating, filtering, crystallizing and drying to obtain heteropoly acid, and (iii) adding hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide, carrying out hydro-thermal reaction and drying to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing magnetic heteropoly acid-graphene composite catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite catalyst has high catalytic activity, excellent magnetic properties, and is conducive to late catalyst separation, recovery and re-use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing magnetic heteropoly acid-graphene composite catalyst comprises (i) under ultrasonic condition, dissolving graphene oxide in water to obtain graphene oxide aqueous solution, then adding ferrous sulfate, sodium hydroxide, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and urea aqueous solution to graphene, and then carrying out hydro-thermal reaction, filtering the product, washing the solid phase, passing liquid nitrogen to freeze drying and obtaining magnetic carrier, (ii) mixing tungstate, zinc nitrate and water for condensing reflux, heating to react, filtering and collecting the filtrate, then crystallizing at 50 degrees C and drying to obtain heteropoly acid, and (iii) dispersing the magnetic carrier in water under ultrasonic condition, then adding Hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide and heteropoly acid, and performing second step of hydro-thermal reaction, filtering, washing the solid phase, adding liquid nitrogen to freeze drying and obtaining final product.
