NOVELTY - Preparing graphene copper-based composite powder comprises orderly filling protective gas and carbon source gas into the reaction chamber, instantaneously vaporizing the copper powder in the reaction chamber into copper steam by high energy beam current, performing gradient temperature control to the reaction chamber, so that the copper steam is firstly converted into molten drop state, quickly realizing the in-situ coating growth of graphene on the surface, and solidifying as graphene coated copper powder. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene copper-based composite powder. ADVANTAGE - The method: prepares graphene-copper-based composite powder with high quality, and high interface combination; improves interfacial bonding between the base copper and graphene, and improves the mechanical properties of base copper while slightly improving the electrical conductivity of the material; and meets the needs of practical engineering applications. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a graphene copper-based composite powder prepared by the above mentioned method.
