NOVELTY - Preparing honeycomb multilayer graphene-like foam cathode material comprises (a) mixing potassium persulfate, phosphorus pentoxide and concentrated sulfuric acid, adding crystalline flake graphite, reacting to obtain pre-oxidized graphite; (b) mixing the pre-oxygenated graphite obtained in step (a), sodium nitrate and concentrated sulfonate, cooling and dropping concentrated sulfuric acid and adding potassium permanganate in batches, reacting, cooling to obtain precursor solution; (c) adding precursor solution in batches to deionized water, reacting and adding hydrogen peroxide, then adding deionizing water and cooling, after the cooling liquid is processed to obtain multi-layer oxidation graphene foam; (d) oxidizing the multi-layered graphene foam, cross-linking agent and solvent, adding sodium citrate pentahydrate to stir, obtaining crosslinking material after reaction, washing the crosslinker material to obtain dispersion liquid and freezing and drying the dispersion liquid . USE - The cathode is used in lithium ion battery and in solar cell. ADVANTAGE - Compared with traditional graphene materials, the number of layers of the honeycomb-shaped multi-layer graphene-like foam is controlled between 10-30 layers, which is much higher than the number of layers of graphene. At the same time, the above-mentioned cathode material has a honeycomb-like morphology, and has both the energy storage characteristics of graphene and graphite, so that it can obtain high energy density in the process of sodium storage and potassium storage.
